It was awesome, there were trails to walk on and the host there was super amazing. He brought us fresh water and set up enough wood for our entire stay. He set up a cart we could use to trail our stuff to and from the vehicle, then at the last day of our stay he set up a, surprisingly clean, trash can for our garbage. He also plants trees and works constantly on making this campground more amazing. He built little shacks you can admire while you’re on the trails and I can’t describe how cool it is. It’s fantastic! I don’t think I’ll be camping anywhere else.
The camp site is 🍃 friendly and everyone minds there own ❤️
Hidden gem nestled in a valley
Had a great time at Green Acres! Matthew is very communicative, and Terry really is the best. The site is very clean and well maintained, and it's a beautiful hidden valley just off the road, which wasn't too busy or loud for us, though I can see how it could be if you're looking for pure isolation.
Cute/cozy hidden gem in central wa
Green Acres is a beautiful and secluded little hidden gem out in the countryside of Centralia. Host Matthew is very helpful as is Terry who greeted us at the gate. I am grateful we went for this laid back rural nature experience instead of an expensive hotel or airbnb, a great stay for people looking to experience Olympia (30 min drive), Mt Rainier or other destinations nearby. We would definitely come back and maybe even bring a few friends!
A little work but worth it
We very much liked it. Only cons I have with the place is we couldn't have a fire and you can't park your car near your site. They had a mini cart to take your stuff to your site but some of the camping stuff we had was too large for the cart. Other than that we feel blessed being there as we are at a little league tournament and it was hard to find anywhere to stay with our too dogs.
Beautiful little slice of paradise
Unexpected and unique experience just outside of town. Great place to go if you don’t like standard campgrounds with noise restrictions and tons of little kids on both sides of your camp spot. We got to hear the coolest choir of coyotes the first night and woke up to a righteous bird choir. Caretaker and owner are both extra cool and accommodating. If i could live onsite- i would!😍 I’ll be back
Green Acres was fantastic. Matthew and Terry were very friendly. They were communicative, and made sure we had everything we needed from lots of firewood to drinking water. Its a great space near town but far enough away. We had site 3, its completey in the trees and absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed my stay here for my first Hip camp experience!
