We stayed at site 2. Great private spot in the shade! Dry camping so we brought a 5 gallon jug for our water. We loved the Sunny Farms Market for meat and produce and all the hippie stuff that is hard to find. Port a potty was clean. Highly recommended!

Pros: Great communication, beautiful sun sets and wildlife, amazing fire pit, clean facilities, plenty of room for my needs, I felt safe camping alone.

Cons: Needs step by step driving instructions, Google maps was way off. Misc vehicles and piles of lumber distracted from the beauty, you can hear the highway noise and music from the neighbors. My biggest disappointment was the lack of a proper trail to the river.. Heidi said to take the deer trail to the river it’s an easy 2 minute walk. It’s not. I was literally walking through bushes, thorns, and downed trees- absolutely not okay for a place advertised to be “on the river”. I feel misled and let down.

Great location close to town and plenty of attractions with the feeling of having privacy. Site 2 has a nice clearing to drive up to for a tent and fire pit.

Thank you for a beautiful site! I 100% recommend it as a better option than staying at a state park. Quiet, secluded, gorgeous scenery and a beautiful fire-pit to enjoy in the evenings. And thanks again for being willing to accommodate our teardrop trailer.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was easy to find, and its location relative to external amenities (grocery store, etc.) was truly ideal. The site itself was pretty quiet, and the low white noise of the river made for a tranquil atmosphere. The firepit was our favorite amenity, and even though we didn't use/need it, it had an adjustable height grill. Pro tips to maximize your experience: bring camping chairs for the fire, sleeping pads for a good night's sleep, and a tarp or tent footprint to keep the tent floor dry. Thanks Heidi; we can't wait to stay with you again!!

We stayed in Site 2. It's a lovely site with great tree shade and a nice wood burner for the evening.

Heidi's communication was fantastic. Super helpful ahead of our stay and a great help when looking for firewood nearby.

In the site closer to the river - not really a good flat spot for a tent, but worked great for adventure van or covered truck bed.
