Located in a rural area, the campground has a festival feel like at Burning Man rather than being in the wilderness, although the wetland toward the back and woods to the north of the property provide some nature retreat.

Owner is a long time burner and welcomes traveling artists, musicians, adventurers.

This was a last minute booking after my rec.gov reservations were cancelled due to weather. It was great. The sites were well maintained, bathrooms were clean, and everyone here was very nice. We will definitely return.

It is a well kept camp ground that looks like it might be (or used to be) a summer camp. It is conveniently located and easy to get to. I was there over a rainy weekend and it was not muddy which is really nice. The down sides are that you can still hear the highway noise and there were a couple abandoned looking rvs which makes it look more run down than it is. Overall it was a good place to stay especially for the price and I will go back if I'm in the area.

My truck broke down so I didn't get to PURR like I had hoped but the host was awesome and understanding about it. Can't wait to actually get out there to camp👍
