The beach,  Blizard Trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada.  Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, but, best to stock your  meals from home as the store has limited supplies.  There are two restaurants, the Beach Store Cafe, moderate priced, and the Willows Inn, advance reservations are a must and it is expensive.  The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights.  Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.

We loved our visit to the Pumpkin Patch with a View. Our host was so incredibly kind and helpful, the site has everything that we needed and Lummi Island is a special place to visit!

We arrived after dark in the rain and wind and with Robert's help, we got situated for a night-long storm which made our adventure quite fun! The next day we had wind, sunshine and changing skies which made our island bicycle ride perfect, as well as the walks on the beach. Highly recommend and we definitely will return.

Side note: The ferry expense was $65.00 roundtrip for one driver with vehicle, one passenger and one 20 foot trailer.

Full services and dogs are welcome too! Love, love, love! Lummi Island is an amazing northwest treasure! The perfect, little pumkin patch (no pumpkins though...:) ) on Lummi Island. Lollie found a rainbow on our early morning beach walk.

The Pumpkin Patch exceeded all expectations! So cool to have our own private campsite on Lummi Island with full hook-ups. And the topper was a private beach on the bay! It was nice meeting our host as well and we can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Staying at the Pumpkin Patch on Lummi Island was a real treat. Robert (Bob) was a clear communicator and always replied to my inquiries very quickly. We texted him from the ferry and he met us as we approached the property so he could help back our camper into it's spot. The site was clean, well equipped with full RV hook ups, a picnic table, garbage receptacle, extra septic hose, and even four Adirondack chairs set up to take in the stellar view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The location was perfect: set in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the ferry landing with easy access to hiking trails and only about a minute's walk to a private beach! Couldn't have been better. I'll be going back next year for sure. Elaine Elkins

It's a great place for an rv - single hook-up, across from a beach, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous visit at the Pumpkin Patch! Really enjoyed having a comfortable space for our two young kids to run around and it was an easy, quick walk down to the private beach. Will definitely look to book again!

Site was at a great location on the island in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood not a lot of privacy but natives are friendly and don’t bite. Robert our host was very nice and helpful upon arrival and left it up to us on how we wanted to get set up then left us to enjoy.. Thanks Robert!! Site isn’t very flat so come with some options to level up, and wind can be an issue as it’s a very open area. There was a burn ban on island so no fires but we’re not big fire people anyway. Beach is a few hundred yards from site and just wonderful. We spent the second day just hanging out there and at the end witnessed an outstanding long sunset. Island is great for hiking and biking, kayaking so bring your own toys as there are no rentals on the island.. Make sure you do some research before you come because there are some options for whale watching/fishing tours that you can arrange to have pick you up right on the beach by the Willows inn which is right down the street. Our second day the wind laid down and it was just perfect had a nice morning walk on beach, a bike ride around island, and spent rest of day on the beach, then made a great dinner under a spectacular sunset. Last day wind blew again and made it a little less enjoyable but still ok. All in all we would come here again if we had the chance.
