Lovely peaceful stay nearby a beautiful creek. The creek would be a great place to take a dip and relax. One camping lot has multiple trees and a shaded area, while the other is an open plot of grass with mostly sun. The neighbor dogs were friendly and came for a visit though they would not leave after multiple attempts and continued to try to eat our food while we were making breakfast and sneak up on our dogs. This caused some stress in the morning due to our dogs getting territorial with the neighbor dogs continuing to try to eat their breakfast. Besides the friendly but nosy dogs, it was a lovely stay with friendly individuals and a serene location.

As a new camp, this is a diamond in the rough and well worth the price. Very quiet, deer coming through all the time. My only caution would be for larger motor homes, as the dip at the end of the driveway needs to be apprached with caution.

Unfortunately Amanda was away for work during our stay so we didn't get to meet in person, but she was very kind and easy to work with, even for this hipcamp newbie mom of 5, haha. Heather was camp host and she was great company as well. I hope their little community takes off! Everything is just starting out and is still very new, so at this time they still lacked a toilet and drinking water, but it's in the works. The stream in some of the photos is seasonal, so was dry during our visit, but it left a nice cool green place and lots of fresh, happy wildflowers while others elsewhere were drying out. We had the choice of a shady spot for our camper which I appreciated. They also had 2 hammocks setup when we got there, which we were free to use, and supplemented my own 2 that I brought so each of my older kids could have one. :)
The area location is a remote rural neighborhood, with light traffic on the nearby road. The deer were very friendly and wandered through our campsite. I loved the buzzing chirp of the local cricket/bug song at night. It reminded me of the crickets at home, but a somewhat softer sound. Very peaceful.
Overall I would definitely recommend for a safe, peaceful space to rest your head at night. :)

Thank you Alicia for that beautiful review. I wish I got to meet you in person, next time! I’m working my butttt off right now to try to get a construction loan to drill the well. That’s a huge priority. I had rain water collection for the last year & personally used that when I lived in my tiny as we did all of the work on the property thus far. But, when I got back after my divorce, it appears it was left open & believe it or not, it doesn’t rain much in Washington after may lololol. Hopefully, next time you come back we have some more stuff for you and your family to enjoy. The hammock spot is so magical. I love to lay there and read and listen to binural beats in the background. Eventually I would love to have that spot “shoes free” because a lot of rare mushroom species grow in that area & I would love to be able to preserve, but also connect, with the species as much as we can. Soooo many big dreams out there, but thanks to friends & beings like Heather, it will slowly & organically turn into what I’ve been creating in my head for years. ( : You took some stunning photos. Those flowers are absolutely incredible. I appreciate you being part of The Seed and we hope to have you again in the future! - AVG

Nice place, really just a spot between some trees. No one there, but they left us firewood- no toilet (I don’t recall whether we thought there would be one or not).

Thank you ( : I am really happy that you enjoyed your stay. On the listing it mentions there’s no amenities, as it’s off-grid at the moment & an organically growing space. I also usually let everyone know that when they message me before booking. I apologize if that was not made clear to you. I am trying to get materials together to build a compost toilet soon. Hopefully you come back and that’s ready. One step at a time. Thank you for being part of The Seed. - AVG

As a solo hiker & camper, feeling safe is so important to me, & i felt very at ease & relaxed on her site! I got to hang out with two other friendly campers. The stars at night are absolutely divine, & this property was just far enough away from the city to experience peace & quietude.

Candace, I AM soooo happy you had a clear night and got to see the stars. I set the intention that you would & also get to see the deers. Sometimes they like to put on a little show. Please come back anytime. I appreciate you being a part of The Seed. Have a beautiful week.
