Find us on Facebook at @campatrendezvous. Please like our page and you'll find up to date info on our different sites. We'd love for you to send photos of your visit at Camp Rendezvous!

Purchase clean, fresh eggs from our free-range chickens for your camp breakfast; add in a variety of our home made rolls and muffins for a tasty country treat.  For a high-end dinner buy one of our farm raised rabbits to roast over your campfire supplied with a FREE bundle of firewood.  Enjoy your meals while watching our horses graze in the adjoining pasture.  Visit and meet our critters on a free guided educational tour of the farm, upon request.  Then relax and snack on our farm made kettle corn while enjoying your campfire.

After a great meal of farm raised products, step off the property into the George Washington National Forest to hike along the many trails or head over to Bryce Four Season Resort (only 4 miles away) for a full day of fun golfing, grass skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, zip lines, snow skiing, snow boarding, tubing and many other activities. In addition, Lake Laura is also just 3 miles away for fishing, boating, hiking, beach and swimming. Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is just 4 miles away and offers a variety of outdoor concerts during the summer weekends.  We'll let you know who's playing on our Facebook page.  After a full day of having fun, doze off to the sounds of the woodlands where you might hear an owl or a coyote or two.  But before you fall asleep, call your friends and tell them what a great day you had.  We have good cell service for most carriers.

Rendezvous Farm is also within an hour of several caverns, two civil war battlefields, the Shenandoah Civil War Museum, New Market Battlefield Military Museum and the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River. The Appalachian Trail is a half hour drive from the farm. This area has much more to offer. We have brochures for many other nearby attractions.  Feel free to inquire about what interests you.

PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY.  Your stay at Rendezvous Farm, a 16-acre working hobby farm bordering George Washington National Forest on 2 sides, offers you access to over 1 million acres of public land to play in. The fee for this site is $30 per night for up to 4 people.  Up to 2 additional people can stay on the site for an additional $10 per person, per night.  For more than 6 people we recommend you reserve an additional camp site.  Site 4 is separated by the other camp sites by our pond and a section of pasture.  It's the best site for watching the horses as they graze the pasture.  This  PRIMITIVE PLUS site has access to the porta potty which is typically located near the other camp sites.  It is a TENT ONLY site reached by a short drive or walk (your choice) through the woods.  We provide one FREE bundle of firewood but require that all fires are completely extinguished before retiring for the evening or leaving our property.  Six gallons of drinking water as well as water for drowning campfires is provided. Your site has a new picnic table too. Hiking trails begin just a few yards from the campsite! An excellent app to help you find the many public trails is ALLTRAILS.  We can direct you to short private trails near the campsite.  Our small run-off pond is part of our wildlife habitat so please no swimming. We have a nice bluegill population for catch and release only fishing for the kids.  The pond tends to shrink in size as the summer heat evaporates the water faster than it's replenished.  All sites are close to our neighbor so we request quiet time from dark to dawn.  FOR YOUR SAFETY, THAT OF YOUR PETS AND OUR ANIMALS, PLEASE READ THE RULES AND SAFETY SECTION.  This is provided once you make a reservation.

This property is beautiful! Site 4 felt surprisingly private as it's a little distance from the other sites. Allen and Peggy quickly made us feel at home with fresh baked goods and a quick introduction and tour of what's available on the farm. Their horses are the two most beautiful beasts I have ever seen. This was a perfect way to celebrate my ladies B-day. 20 min drive from the trailhead of Church rock trail. Everything about this experience was perfect! We will definitely return!

The site was different than any other site I’ve ever been to for the better. The site backed up to their horses which my 3 year old son loved. It was more private than the other few sites as well which was nice. There is also a fish pond right near site 4 and they are ok with fishing. They supply you with plenty of fire wood and water as well. Allen and Peggy are nice as can be and they make you feel at home. They were going to take my son on a tour of the farm but we had to leave a day early because he got sick. I would definitely return and I highly recommend it. It’s very peaceful.

We had an amazing weekend tent camping at Rendezvous Farm! The camp site was great with plenty of shade, so no waking up early to hot tents, with horses, small fish pond, and toilet nearby everything was well planned. Highly recommend buying the whole chicken and cooking over the campfire. The kids said it was the best chicken they have ever eaten! We will definitely make a return visit!

We stayed at campsite four on Labor Day weekend. This site is very secluded and off the beaten path. Which we all really enjoyed. Unfortunately for us it did rain most of our trip so we weren't able to utilize the lake. However, we did walk around it which was a beautiful hike of about 3 miles. Make sure you pack everything you need because it's quite a drive into town. There is a small store outside of the neighborhood. Peggy and Alan were wonderful hosts and provided firewood and water daily. And the fresh eggs were amazing! We definitely recommend campsite four

Our time at Camp Rendezvous was extraordinary. Peggy and Allen are wonderfully kind and generous hosts. We stayed at Site 4 for 2 days with our 1 year old and 4 year old. Peggy and Allen were attentive and communicated with us well. They treated the girls to a visit with the chickens and horses. We strolled the property and even got a tour and some samples from the family garden. The kids loved exploring and feeding the fish by the pond. We enjoyed our fresh farm eggs for breakfast and ordered some of Peggy’s delicious muffins (worth it!). Great trees for hanging hammocks. The firewood is great and there is lots of dead and downed stuff for kindling. Allen was helpful at restocking our fire bucket and potable water as needed. Site 4 is most private and even though it is not very close to the privy it is totally worth it (especially since we bring our own luggable lu).
On our full day we headed over to Lake Laura (<10 minutes) for a lake swim and paddle boat. Wonderful being so close to so many fun adventures.
We are already looking ahead on the calendar to see when we can come back. We highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Awesome place. Peggy and Allen are the sweetest people and take care of two of the friendliest horses I've ever met. It doesn't get better than waking up under a canopy of trees with the sun shining through ever so slightly, the breeze blowing by calmly, and their horses Sparky and Tootsie only a few feet away enjoying a morning graze while you sip your coffee. Virginia is great, but Rendezvous farm will be the reason I return.

Peggie and Allen were so kind and the campsite was absolutely perfect. The best camping experience we could have hoped for! The amenities were very clean, and the property was well kept! Their directions to get to the property and the site were very easy to follow. Perfect location as well!
