After winding down the Blueridge Mountains we pulled in just after sunset and Matt greeted us with our order of eggs and pointed us up the Hill. We wound up the grass path to the site at the top of the hill. The stars quickly started to dot the sky as we got our fire going and camp set up. We slept in the car and woke to a beautiful sunrise over the farm.

Great campsite! The views were incredible. It's hard to find a site with views like this where you don't need 4wd to get to. The river was a short walk downhill and was so beautiful. The sheep, goats and chickens were a really exciting bonus for our young one. Matthew delivered our firewood up to our campsite and was a super pleasant guy. This is definitely a spot we would LOVE to get back to.

This place was awesome. There is a beautiful green hill where we camped and it had a great view of the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance. There’s also a stream down the hill. We really enjoyed the farm animals, since we’d never spent much time on farms. There are goats, sheep, and chickens. We even bought some fresh eggs! There are fire pits and tables at the campsites, which is convenient. We might make this a yearly trip because we had such a good experience. The owners also have a coffee shop so you can camp and grab coffee (about a half hour away) to support the local farmers. 100% recommend and am planning to visit again. Thanks Matthew!

They were super friendly and the place is wonderful with great views and if you actually can't find the right place quite a bit of privacy but they didn't mind us coming in a little late after dark and not quite camping while we were supposed to. But they were very accommodating and our puppy had a great time running around in the creek and on the fields a little bit off leash.

This is a great find! Beautiful views and very private. The property has plenty of room to explore with its very own creek and wide pastures. The hosts were extremely helpful and have an awesome story making you happy to support their mission. We appreciated our dog being able to roam off-leash and enjoyed seeing the farm animals they have. If you are thinking about booking, you should!
