The area for camping was lush green with some shade with a clean outhouse. It’s walking distance from the New River Trail. Very quiet and peaceful. Even had some nesting robins right beside our camper van!

It’s really cheap so that’s great, but it’s not at all by the river, so the picture on the app is a lie. It’s fully across the street from the river. But the actual spot is decent enough and cheap.
Great little camp spot!! We could walk right to the new river boat launch in about 10 minutes or hang out by the fire! The host and her whole family were amazing people, the beautiful view of the night sky was great, and kids had a blast! If your looking to get close to new river for a good price then this is the place to be!!!
We had a quiet and peaceful stay at this site and were treated with a beautiful night sky after the sun set. We were able to pitch our tent near the back of the property and had a nice outhouse close by. The host was very kind and happy to have us stay at her property for the night. I would definitely stay here again while driving through Virginia. It's a short drive right off of 77.
