Great views but there isn’t much flat space for tents. Gravity is a really issue at all the sites as picnic tables on are on slope. Site 2 has a bench but no table due to this issue. The access road is extremely steep up to the camp. Very close to the Channels trailhead which is convenient. Go early as that parking lot fills up fast, only 10 cars fit in the lot.
Beautiful camp 🏕. Google maps took us to someone’s home and, thankfully, the home owner told us it was down the road father. I felt anxious finding the location because it was a set address, but it is labeled very well! I felt silly afterwards. Our campsite had a fire pit and map for a tent. Then a site or two down was a bathroom if preferred.
I didn’t pack any firewood and had a hard time locating some in town! So bring some along with you!
Very close to the channels parking lot. Very secluded location, the area was peaceful. We stayed on site 2 which I think is the best site. Fire ring with grate provided and a nice bench with side table we ate breakfast at. It is steep to drive up to but made it in our 2wd van.

It was pouring rain when I stayed and super muddy but campsites are nice. I got in late but woke up gina nice view after the fog cleared. I’m excited to come back in nicer weather. I’d recommend here.
Wow! What a beautiful camp! Very clean property with beautiful views. The toilet was nice and clean, and the proximity to The Channels is unbeatable! THANK YOU, David, for sharing this!
Dave sight has the best views and I would recommend site 1 or 2. He is very generous and leaves you fire wood. The pits have a grill on top to cook. The site is very close to the channels about a mile - and a very easy drive.
They also have a farm store that sells eggs and produce. What a fantastic experience. Thanks to Dave for lending us his land.
Ridge top camping. There were three sites each with a picnic table and fire ring along a cleared portion of the ridge about 100 feet wide. Porta-john on site. Very quite. No worry about being bothered by the neighbors. The area cleared was big enough to set up any tent. I would bring a tarp for under your tent as most of the area the grass is still developing. The driveway is new gravel and a little steep. My civic made it fine but not sure my truck (2wd) and trailer would have. I do not recommend this site for RVs or camper trailers, not sure there is a good place to turn around.
The site is marked very well with Hipcamp signs. This is Not the steel white gate keep going you are almost there. The owner was very helpful guiding me to the proper site.

David's campsite was great and right near the channels! As you may know, the channels only has 10 parking spots which means you need to get there bright and early in order to snag one, which was no problem when it was just a mile down the road. David's land had 5 campsites, most with picnic tables and all with a small pad to put your tent on. It's rather steep getting up there/to spots 4 and 5 so having all/4 wheel drive would be helpful. When we arrived, the grass was a bit overgrown but David showed up a few minutes later ready to mow it down to make it cleaner for us, and it was perfect after that!
