Green grassy campsites on an Old Victorian Dairy Country Farm House site.

The property is located in the Otways, the rail trail is close by for bush walks, wildlife watching or mountain biking.

Two micro breweries are within 20 minutes drive (Prickly Moses & Forest Brewery). Otway Fly Treetop Adventures is just 30 minutes away. There are many waterfalls within easy driving distance and Apollo Bay just an hours drive.

Campfire and sitting area available for guests use, public toilets that are serviced three times a week and kept hygienically clean, located just 1000mtrs down the road.

If you like a hit of tennis, there are two courts near the toilets and a community centre next to the CFA.

This is all about being off the grid, soaking up nature and what this region has to offer.

You'll spot an abundance of native wildlife on the property - we have koalas in the trees, platypus in the dam, echidnas burrowing in the garden beds, with kangaroos and wallabies passing through the property.

There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy complete privacy, if required a 6 man tent can be supplied and erected for you.

Don't be concerned about bringing too much fire wood, if at all any, we can and are happy to get your first night sorted by supplying firewood for the campfire.

Great relaxing stay and Peter was the most informative host and extremely helpful. Got to view some Koala's next to our site (and heard them bellowing at night!!) but missed out on spotting the elusive platypus. Well located with lots to see in the surrounds.

The property is centrally located, not far from Colac, only minutes to Gellibrand, and easy drive along gravel roads to Forrest. Peter is welcoming and is a great host.

Great spot, with a variety of bird and wildlife. Peter was a great host, very friendly, helpful with information and even got the campfire going while we set up our camp. Thank you for your great communication and for being a friendly host. We will be back again.

Amazing campsite with an awesome host. Peter was really helpful and knowledgeable, he showed us where the koalas and platypus are, gave us advice on what to see and do in the area, even got us setup with firewood for the night. Highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking to explore the area.

Peter gave us a friendly welcome at the gate and after driving up a beautifully tree-lined drive complete with agapanthus he pointed out a koala perched just metres from our car. He then helped us ferry our things from our sedan to our campsite.
We loved our campsite - private with just the right amount of sun and shade, overlooking a row of pampas grass and another stand of trees. We loved the varied and sometimes very “noisy” bird life, including kookaburras, galahs and many more.
The picture on the website of Peter’s dam is not an exaggeration - there were a number of locations which were equally beautiful.
The Beechy rail trail was within walking distance and the interesting town of Forrest was a 20 minute drive away.

Peter was an exceptional host. Showing him the koala on his land and the pond where there are two platypus. He even helped us to build a fire whilst our boys were engaged wildlife watching. Couldnt recommend more!
