High Country Paradise
Great location for family camping
Brilliant spot in a lovely part of the high country. Great mix of being 10 minutes from town, while still feeling like the middle of nowhere. Loretta was a generally outstanding host. Not an isolated stay as you'll be seeing and interacting with other groups as you drive past them on the long property and at the shared and decidedly rustic toilets, but if you're OK with that, we haven't stayed anywhere better. Great easy car and caravan/camper access to most sites, plentiful wood for $50, creek access that was great for the kids to play in, and views to Buffalo. Had a really lovely week here.

Highly recommended
The views are incredible, very relaxed camp-site and close to so many amazing locations in the VIC high country. Recommend Site 7 and 8 if you don't have your own toilet. No shower facilities so if not in a Camper Trailer or caravan you will need to factor that in.

Fantastic Stay, extremely helpful hosts, great big grassy areas to camps, fantastic little creek / river to swim in, we stayed 4 nights will definitely be stay again, such a beautiful, peaceful place.

High Country Paradise
Loretta was a fantastic and friendly host. She greeted us at the gate on arrival with her two gorgeous border collies and led us to our campsite. The campsites were spacious, flat and plenty of room to spread out. There was a huge fire pit and if you opt for wood, the wood pile was very generous and burned clean. No smoke at all. We loved the path to our private patch of Buffalo Creek. The water was clean and refreshing during the hot day. The toilets were good too. Tastefully set up and not stinky at all. Wombat homes, beautiful bird life and scenery. We had a wonderful Easter and will be back for sure.
