Hazelnut Valley is a working Hazelnut Farm located along the Tyres River. We are an easy 2 hour drive from CBD Melbourne so we are a great location for either short or long stays. - Pet friendly (please see rules) - Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place - Campers to be self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground, must be a chemical toilet where you take your waste with you) Dump Point available in Rawson. Fire pit will be provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group. BYO Firewood For Toilet Hire Requirements, please contact Moe Hire (03 5127 7114) For Firewood Delivery to site please contact Moe Garden Supplies (03 5127 2394) Available on request - Hazelnut Farm Tour including product sampling January is when we are cleaning the Hazelnut Groves ready for Harvest in March/April. Weather permitting January/February is Hay Season, large tractors will be on site cutting and rolling bales of Hay. March/April is Harvest Time for our Hazelnut Groves. If you book a stay during these times, there will be a lot of activities and sounds between 10am & 6pm each day. READ THROUGH THE DIRECTIONS THAT BECOME AVAILABLE ONCE BOOKINGS ARE COMPLETED

Chestnut Corner
We had a great site hidden away from the other sites. Really nice stretch of river that I can confirm holds trout. Will definitely be back.

Best hip camp we have been too. Photos were actually what you see not like most , so good I wanted too buy it.

Blissful few days away
I recently visited a stunning Hipcamp property near Erica, VIC. Nestled by the Tyers River, Hazelnut Valley Farm was a great way to spend a few days relaxing next to the soothing water sounds - pure bliss! There was a lot of wild birdlife around, cows and sheep to chat with, and open access to the hazelnut trees. The site felt very private. Access to the river was pretty good. A fireplace was provided for our use. Bernie, one of the owners, is friendly and very helpful; there were also roasted hazelnuts for sale on the way out.

Bernie and Lisa never fail to deliver. Great site that is close to the river and flat. River was very cold but that’s what you would expect. Nice clear nights and no one near by Thanks guys

Coopers Corner (Water Pump)
We had an amazing Easter weekend camping at Hazelnut Valley. We had the Coopers Corner site and it had beautiful views of the hills and river access. Bernie was lovely to deal with and our whole group loved it, we did a day trip to Walhalla too. We will be back!
