This beautiful parcel of land has more established trees than the four surrounding properties combined. The gently sloping hills and panoramic views give it a peaceful sanctuary type feel. Many of the trees were planted more than 30 years ago by its previous inhabitants. The land, with its new collaborators, will grow and become open to new purposes like hosting campers, permaculture gardens, adding more trees, chooks and tiny houses and cabins. The intention over the next few years is to create an off-grid retreat and learning space that can be enjoyed respectfully by many.
Come and stay at our quiet Avocado Farm! With over 50 Avocado trees, and twice as many native and other established trees.
Please note there is no swimming in the dams.
Fires are allowed in the designated spots. Subject to fire ban days. Fire bans must always be followed.
Important Notes
1. This property is not suitable for young children. Booking cannot be accepted for children under the age of 8 years old.
2. Two very old dogs live here. They're happy to say hello but also need their rest time.
3. We also share our farm with 2 geese and some goats. Please be mindful of letting them out of their specified areas and please don't feed them unless you check with us first. You'd be surprised by what they can't eat!
4. This is an operating farm and as such there are times when farm operations may create noise. Eg, whipper snipper, ride-on lawnmower, sabre saw pruning.
That being said we try to be very mindful of our guests too :)
