Please NOTE that the other side of the brook is PRIVATE and walking up river over 350 meters our River Frontage ends. Please do NOT go past the Bridge up river so our neighbors can have their PRIVACY. At the bottom of the driveway the road wishbones left and right. Back your vehicles in to the site on the left side about 100 yards down the driveway Or drive through before it levels out (it’s a loop). I suggest backing in trailers though if you go to the end of the driveway you can turn around and drive in on the way back. Our driveway ends at the abandoned house (closed up). There is plenty of room for an RV/ camper and tent site. There is additional parking for more vehicles on this site too which you will see when you are there just above the site (upper portion of the loop). The “Wishbone Left” site is private from the other site on this property. Enjoy the music of the Brook. No running water in Winter though we can provide 5 gallon drinking water in portable container. Also in Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or you park up by entry and hike in so you can easily get out.

A perfect creekside mountain oasis
We had a wonderful stay at Roy’s. The pictures don’t do the spot justice. We pulled up after dark and Roy had left adorable string lights on for us. Power and hose were obvious, so we didn’t have to go searching. Plenty of firewood was provided. His communication couldn’t have been better! The sound of the brook below was so amazing. Also, there were plenty of sweet towns to explore and beautiful drives to take in the area. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This was my third time camping at this site. It is a great spot tucked away near a beautiful creek with a great firepit and many spots for tents and hammocks. Also a few string lights for good measure! Roy is a great host and always happy to help provide what you need as well as recommendations for local hiking/mountain biking. Thank you! hope to come back again soon.
Awesome secluded spot. We had so much fun at the campsite and exploring nearby Brattleboro. Cell signal is spotty at best but it was great to be off our phones for a bit. The drop to the stream is pretty steep but it was fun to walk down and explore. Our first trip to Vermont want a success!
The site was great. Felt completely private even though there was a second site on the property. Great sound of the river below the site. Electricity and water on site and a great fire ring.
The driveway in is pretty steep and narrow. It was fine for our camper, but you want good brakes and the ability to downshift.
A slice of beautiful vermont
Beautiful, private camping. We stayed at Wishbone left in a 20 foot trailer. It was a great site. Friends stayed at Wushbone right. That was a larger site but not as nice as left. The climb to the creek was so worth it...gorgeous. Roy was a great host...very responsive. We had a great stay!
