It lives on the edge of the woodlands, above our habitat clear cut boasting valley views, and strategically positioned for breathtaking sunrises just for you! Find your inner wild among the trees during an unforgettable adventure in Vermont. There are forest trails galore and multiple mountain streams with private dipping holes all around. Recharge by a cozy campfire under the stars. You should be looking forward to experiencing a digital detox during your stay. Experiences such as hiking, birding, snowshoeing and biking at various levels surrounds your campsite – pick quiet country roads or challenging mountain trails. Telmark or cross country skiing, sledding and snowmobiling opportunities makes Nature In-tents a year round getaway. You’ll have to share with the wildlife, that hopefully you spy, but we can’t make any promises! You will feel like you are miles from civilization, yet only a few miles away you have access to Killington and Woodstock communities for romping, shopping and adventuring. We outline our favorite local spots in our camp manual. It cools off quickly in the evening in the mountains, especially during the fall so please bring warm gear.Nature In-tents is a hike in, mountaintop campsite looking over Chateauguay valley that is ready with all accessories needed for camping except your bedding and food! Our dome tent sits on a platform and is currently tarped over for rain. Amazing leaf peeping
We had an amazing stay here! The spot is private and huge, well kept, and has everything you need. Deborah gave us all the info we needed to find the spot and have a great time. Tent held up and protected us from some crazy rain. Roads to and parking spot remained fine during said rain (we were worried.) Would recommend making a stop at the Woodstock farmers market and then chef-ing it up with all the materials provided. Overall we loved this spot and highly recommend!

Nature Intents
It’s really rare to be able to wake up and not hear your camping neighbors rustling around or starting up their vehicles. This is a secluded paradise, with an amazing view that you have earned. I only wish that we did our stay maybe a month later when the autumn leave colors really start to come through, I’m sure it’s nothing short of spectacular looking down on all of that.

The site really has everything you need fully stocked (minus food). We took full advantage of the quiet dirt roads and trails for hiking and running as well as food and swimming spots in Bridgewater, Woodstock, and Plymouth. The birdsong in the woods at the campsite are show stopping and transporting. We experienced a strong rain storm during our stay and the tent and site held up really well.

The location was well off the beaten path. The 15 minute walk up to the site is steep but very doable. Just remember to take this into account when packing for your trip. Views from the site are gorgeous! Deborah did a great job of laying out everything that was at the site and everything we needed to bring. She saved the day by helping to take stuff up to the campsite in her ATV. We managed to time our arrival just before a downpour so she was a life saver.

Mountain views and stars for days
Had a great time at Deborah’s little mountain site. The hike in is ROUGH if you’re not a skilled hiker/mountain climber. They offer gear assistance and I wish we had utilized it. Other than that the views and stars are amazing and make the hike in totally worth it. We came in summer so it was a little buggy during the day, but it’s camping so that’s expected. They provided everything we could possibly need. The toilet/shower house is very nice as well. Would love to stay again in other seasons to see how that mountain view changes. We didn’t have our pups this trip, but knowing the site is pet friendly is an added bonus!

Beautiful site w/ mountain views
If you're craving that far-out, remote, in-the-middle-of-the-woods feeling (we were), this spot is it!! The drive in is stunning and follows the most beautiful little creek/river for about 5 miles. The hike definitely qualifies as a climb (fairly steep in some sections), but only took us 10-15 minutes. We will definitely be coming back, but this time only with our packs (rather than having to use the Gorilla cart, which was great to have). Deb and Ron have an 4x4 that they can help carries supplies up with, which might be more appealing to others. Such a beautiful view at the top..super peaceful and the campsite is impressively equipped. You can tell Deb & Ron have put a lot of heart into the site, and wanting others to enjoy such an incredible spot. Also huge plus that right off the Hipcamp there are awesome hiking trails. Thank you for a great stay!!
