Description

Panguitch Lake North Campground was definitely created with the explorer in mind. Check out several of the attractions nearby, including the Grand Staircase-Escalante Monument, Cedar Breaks National Monument, and Bryce Canyon National Park. Enjoy the laid-back vibe on the campground itself, with cooler temperatures and activities like boating and fishing galore. Mountain biking and hiking are on the menu as well, so we doubt you'll run out of things to do once you make it here.

I've been camping at Panguitch Lake since I was a kid. The fishing is some of the best in the area. We camped last summer at Panguitch North Campground for 11 nights. With our America The Beautiful pass (seniors over 62 years old) the rate was $11 per night. There are no hookups. Nearest dump station is outside of the campground, about a mile down the main road. We stayed at site #39. It is close to the restroom and water spigot and is spacious, with views of the lake. There are several hiking trailheads inside the campground. Panguitch Lake General Store is just across the road from the campground, for gas, propane, bait, groceries, ice and laundry. Next to the store is the Burger Barn, handsdown the BEST food on the mountain!
