Right along the Utah-Nevada boarder and about 2 miles off State Road 56 on the 10400 West (Cougar Road) turnoff, just east of the Ghost Town Modena. On quiet nights you can hear the Ghost Train passing by and see an array of unexplained phenomena in the sky. Raw desert land for beautiful desert star-gazing camping. Enjoy the sand, sagebrush, and stars. Calling all Ghost Riders! This is raw desert land away from the lights and the road. State Highway 56 is a low traffic road and you are miles away from the nearest lights. It is beautiful, peaceful, and quite desert landscape and you will be camping directly on the desert sand. In great weather, you can access it in 2WD sedans but 2WD pickups/SUVs are better, and 4WD or AWD is preffered.
