Briarfield Self Sufficient Camping
in Briarfield, New South WalesWe had booked to stay at Briarfield, and got stuck by the floods in NSW and weren't able to make the booking.
Julia was gracious enough to call and make sure we were all okay and we arranged to be able to stay at another time when things weren't so wet!
So although we haven't been onsite yet, our interactions with Julia are enough to recommend staying at Briarfield.
Resting Goanna Campground - Barkala
in Barkala Farm, New South WalesFor the price, can't complain.
The team member who helped us on arrival was super friendly!!
It was disappointing that the terms and conditions state dogs must be kept on leash while on the grounds (which we did as a responsible dog owner) yet there were two dogs freely roaming the grounds which did not belong to the other campers on site.
This resulted in our dog fighting with one of these dogs, while the owners were nowhere to be seen.
Being so far off the road may not be everyone's cup of tea, although road had been freshly graded.
Make sure to bring levelling ramps if taking a caravan as ground uneven.
