Richards camp was the most beautiful campsite I have ever visited, and he was more than generous to provide us with a large table that had a cutting board, a large jug filled with water and a small camp bbq with propane! Also more than enough fire wood to last us through the night👌🏼We were more than pleased with Richards generosity and hospitality while staying on his property and he made sure that we had absolutely everything we needed to be comfortable. There were even string lights to luminate the site perfectly throughout the night and early morning. We saw his resident Bambi just down the path of where we camped and it hung around for quite a while which was quite a cool experience given we had our dog camping with us as well! It was a beautiful setting camping among the vineyard and the stars at night are absolutely gorgeous!! The fire pit was beautifully made and built up so you can have nice fires to either cook on or just hang around it for a relaxing camp:)
We rode the MS Chi-Cheemaun to get to Manitoulin Island from Tobermory, which was a great first time experience and definitely suggest taking that if coming from southern ON. It’s half the travel than driving around to Sudbury, and is a wonderful 1hr and 45min way to experience the channel! The Vineyard however, is very conveniently located; right in the middle between the town of Little Current and South Baymouth. It’s a little more on the remote side which we personally preferred, but make sure you have everything you need as it is about a 30 min drive to other amenities.
Richard was a very friendly and generous host and we greatly appreciated everything he did for us!
We hope to return next year! Thanks again so much Richard!

Denise was the most lovely and friendly host and provided us everything we needed for a campfire and a beautiful country night on a farm setting — there was a picnic table seating area, with lots of room for vehicle and tent space, as well as room for your dog to be tied up comfortably. Denise has a lovely property with close proximity to other towns and leisure activities such as Grand Bend and Pinery Provincial Park. Great location for people who love to see the country stars at night and beautiful farming field sunrises and sunsets! Fresh roadside veg along the road the property is on, however, if you want to cook on the campsite, I would suggest bringing something to put over top the fire pit or a camp barbecue of some type. We brought a cast iron flat pan and it worked super! There is no bathroom service, however Denise offered potable water for us to fill our water bottles which was greatly appreciated!! We loved the experience with Denise and her amazing dog Rosie, who has the most gentle yet playful temperament! Our dog got along great with her and he had a lovely experience as well, as Denise was generous enough to provide us welcoming treats for the dog and refreshing drinks for the two legged campers☺️
We had the most amazing experience using this app for the first time, and we definitely hope to return next year!
Thanks so much again Denise! We truly appreciate your generosity of letting us camp on your farm!
