Great little camp site with a beautiful view through the hills. At night you can just see the lights of the city in the distance, but you are far enough away that you get a much better view of the stars, we could even see some of the Milky way.
Pinegrove Camping (Unpowered)
in Pinegrove, Western AustraliaI really enjoyed my night at Pinegrove. Margery and Ivan were very welcoming, and showed us to our spot, which was a nice clearing in amongst a copse of trees. There was a fireplace setup, for if you staying during winter, and although there was a strong wind, we were reasonable sheltered by the trees and some rocks. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city for a night or two.

Great site with plenty of areas to camp. Perfect for a quick get away from Perth. Love the fact that it's just bushland, no designated sites or facilities, and no traffic noise or crowds.
