The pleasant-tree site
in Murray Farm Stay in Dwellingup, Western AustraliaCamping with murray farmstay
We were so lucky to go to Murray Farmstay for the weekend. Unfortunately it was raining but that didn’t stop us having a great time! Alison and Robert were so welcoming. He gave us plenty of firewood to get a big fire going for the chilly night/morning. We spent the afternoon sitting by the fire with their pet sheep, goat, alpaca, horses and geese in the paddock.
The ammenities provided were outstanding. We enjoyed using the camp kitchen and finishing off the night with a warm outdoor shower.
Highly recommend this place as it’s only 1 hour from Perth and 5 mins from Dwellingup town. You also get the whole paddock to yourself so it’s very peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be returning in the future!! Thanks for having us Alison and Robert!
Southwoods
in Perron Estate Camping, Western AustraliaRoo Gully
in Perron Estate Camping, Western AustraliaHighly recommend coming to Perron Estate! We really enjoyed ourselves here and it’s been our favourite hipcamp stay so far! Great location only 15 mins from Bunbury.
Chris, Andrea and Sienna were so welcoming upon arrival. We fed their beautiful highland cows, they were so cute and friendly! We had the opportunity to enter the paddock to meet them, together with their alpacas and other cattle.
We stayed at Roo Gully which had the fire pit set up ready to go. This site was very secluded from other campers with stunning views. Very clean and well maintained. In the evening we got to witness large mobs of kangaroos grazing and jumping around. It was so beautiful and we definitely recommend this place to everybody 😄
Running Brook
in Lewana Campsites, Western AustraliaBeautiful forest getaway
The drive into Lewana campsites was so beautiful. Mark and Jayne were so incredibly welcoming, and were more than happy to help with any questions we had. We bought some firewood from their little shop for our campfire. The property itself was so incredibly well kept, all the ammenities were clean and it was nice to end our night with a hot shower.
We were lucky enough to have the entire site to ourselves, surrounded by tall trees and overlooking the dam. In the morning, we were greeting by kangaroos and chirping birds. We had a walk to explore the property and visited the alpacas and emu before we left.
We had an amazing stay at Running Brook, and we have never felt so relaxed on a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back again to try out their other campsites. Thanks Mark and Jayne!
