Oh wow! What can we say ... Paradise Found. We decided to hitch the caravan and escape the continuous rain of the Sunshine Coast to enjoy dry feet and skies! We booked for 4 nights to explore the region and dry out. The property sits amongst a picturesque working lime farm and our site was nestled on a top flat under a gorgeous old Gumtree backing onto the lime orchard. It was completely private and offered the most spectacular sunsets each afternoon over the ranges. We had booked some firewood prior to arrival so we could settle in quickly and enjoyed the delicious Eggs, Kombucha and Limes that are produced on the farm. We had a day trip to Toowoomba, Crows Nest Falls (stunning National Park only moments away) and even a lengthier trip to get the Country's best bakery pies at Blackbutt; enjoying all that these delightful country towns offer for visitors passing through. Would definitely recommend a stay at High Country - we will be back soon!
