This is very much a communal style campground. Our group did have a fun time here and enjoyed our time at the brewery. Thankfully we ended up deciding to book site 1 and 2 in order to have more space for our group. When we got to the campground we realized site 1 & 2 were pretty much the same site, just split by the shared picnic tables. 1 & 2 did look to be the flatter and more open sites. There is also another campsite 3 & 4, I honestly couldn’t see how anyone would of enjoyed campsite 4, it’s very uneven ground and covered by low hanging trees. I’m a little disappointed by the lack of space per campground, doesn’t seem fair to have to pay for two campsites just so you don’t have to share a campsite with another group. The campground is very pretty and the bathhouse is super nice, the communal area is very cozy and a lot could be done with your group over there, but would require you to lug your camp chairs and cooler over to enjoy it. There was a communal BBQ pit that we lugged over to our site just so we could cook for the group. I was expecting there to be a small grill/fire area in the campsite based on photos, but maybe people had to lug that over to their campsite also. Just beware there is this loud intermittent noise that comes from the brewery that’s actually more like a 9 second fog horn you hear it all day and all night, but you can drown it out with some music. If you’re sensitive with noises at night, this is probably not the site for you. There is no water spigot at the campsite, which makes washing dishes an issue, you’ll have to lug the dishes to the bathhouse and wash them there. All in all we did have fun at the campsite, but we did have some challenges.

Very clean and lovely restrooms and showers. Picnic tables at campsite. The only drawback really is the hum from the brewery. It’s hit or miss. Some in our party it really annoyed. I didn’t mind. Campsites and cabins are very close together so keep that in mind. We didn’t have any issue but you’ll know you’re not alone.

Such mixed feelings about Tipping T. My friend and I were both so excited to visit Jester King being big fans of sours and hearing about this place for years. The brewery is great…the experience at the campsite unfortunately wasn’t. I stepped on a piece of barbed wire pretty much as soon as I got out of the car, not a fun start :/ the smell from the brewery is pretty stinky and cheesy and you’re awaken by the sound of (a lot) barking dogs…i’m thinking maybe there’s a kennel close by. The only major plus is the bathrooms. They’re super nice for a campground. Overall this place is not worth $50 a night. I’d maybe stay here again if it were half the price.

One of the best places I've ever camped. Clean, comfortable, bathrooms were well kept. The brewery next door is amazing!

Our stay was amazing. It is conveniently located and walking distance from the Jester King Brewery. We were coming from San Antonio to drive to Pace Bend the next day and it worked out perfectly. The host Tipping was extremely courteous and responsive. The bathroom was fancier and cleaner than mine at home (LOL). I would definitely stay at this campsite again!!

This is a cool spot with tons of amenities and would be great for a group! Light sleepers should know there is some evening noise from the brewery's fans or coolers or something. Also be aware jester king is only open wednesday to sunday, so don't count on it for dinner on a monday like I did!

The grounds are beautiful and everything at Tipping T and Jester King is very well maintained. This is a great place to camp if you like having a good clean bathroom and shower. The cedar bathhouse is amazing. And the 30 second walk to Jester King on the other side of the fence is cool if you want some great beer and pizza or to pet some goats. One thing to be aware of, and the only drawback, sites 1&2 and sites 3&4 are basically one site. We were the only campers so it was perfect but if you have a neighbor they will be camping with you. Not a place for those who seek any privacy. The cabins are all around you as well. But still an amazing place for glamping and being social.
