WARNING: We can't accommodate rigs with a total length longer than 28 feet at this time unless you make special arrangements and we assist you with parking.

You will be camping in a fairly level grassy area among mesquite, Juniper and cedar trees with easy access to our red and green colored mesas and arroyos. The canyons have streams with running water during and right after rain storms. But this is mostly dry semi arid desert country with many different kinds of thorny plants and cactus. The blossoms are beautiful, especially the Yuccas, in the spring starting in late March through May. We have many types of birds including hawks, owls and roadrunners. Bobcats, wild hogs, deer, coyotes, foxes, raccoons and opossums also share the ranch. There is great county road bicycling on paved roads with almost no traffic.

This is primitive dry camping and currently there are no bathrooms, showers or potable water. The county road is paved and the ranch access road is caliche. But during rainy periods the short hip camp road can become muddy so minimize driving.

What a great property. The road in and campsite areas were all very well marked. We arrived at 20pm and had no problems finding our way out our campsite.
The roads in and site were in great shape. Really enjoyed our stay there

Nice quite spot. Good signage showing you the way. Roman was very generous with his time and showed us around the place. Him and the rest of their crew are building a cool little community.

This is a great place to camp! Such an interesting project that Richard, Sasha and Donald are up to, and I thank them for sharing their space with my family. Thanks in particular to Sasha for the tour of the property!

It was a quiet, pretty camping spot with plenty of land to see while there. The ladies I met who explained the background of the land and buildings were very welcoming and kindhearted. Would recommend for the price and ease.

Roman, on of the helpers was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to! The campsite was nice and there was plenty of wildlife all around. Little bunnies everywhere. Overall great experience

Our stay on Richard's land was quick, so we did not get a chance to see the amazing things it sounds like he has going on. However, we did have a lovely comfortable stay. Richard was very responsive and helpful, and we enjoyed the land!

Very easy to find. Well marked directions and campsite numbers were a nice touch. Worked well as a quick stopover on a long drive.

Richard's place (both Hipcamp and Airbnb, and wellness center in the works) is a must do! After a long trip, I slept soundly listening to gentle sounds of nature and feeling safe and secure in my dedicated spot. On the property are excellent walking trails and one of the most amazing Earthships, which Richard - a true pioneer in that regard - built back in the 1950s! Also amazing to see are the additional architectual (and other wonders) in progress, all moving towards a wellness center in the works. Wow, this Hipcamp was a real privilege to experience and I am grateful to the host for making it so exceptional! If you can make the trip, check it out!

What a perfect spot to camp as I was driving across the country! The property is beautiful (thanks for the tour!) and idea for a regenerative farming community is inspiring. Quiet, safe, and easy place to camp under the stars.
