What a great spot on one of the best rivers in Texas. The Paluxy is fantastic and the set up for campsite #1 was perfect for our family. The fire pit, chairs, and picnic tables were fantastic. My daughter loved the play structure. And our dogs loved playing in the shallow area of the river. We will definitely be back.

Creek campsite with easy access and level ground. Had two cot tents. Perfect distance to town, Just a few yards from the river, awesome fire pit with lean back wooden chairs for star gazing. Minutes Away from all attractions. Great communication. Easy booking and affordable. Will stay here again and again.

Such an excellent gem right outside Glen Rose. Paul was an amazing host and had everything we needed for a great night of camping. There are two sites along the river, separated by some trees and brush making each feel adequately private. Close enough to the road to hear cars going by, but there was very little traffic during our stay. Well worth it to wake up to peaceful riverside views. Great spot for wading and swimming, with a rock shelf leading into the river. Thanks for sharing, Paul!

Wa a great to be on the Paluxy river, w e caught two fish which was exciting and took our kayak out as well. The place is great for kids as Paul has setup a little jungle gym and it’s literally on the river. The only downside is the street noise at night- kept most of us awake and didn’t stop until almost morning..if it weren’t for that then it would have been perfect.

Usually its a pretty quite road. And a small town. Surprised you had any issues with that. Guessing just bad timing for an event nearby..

What a great find, This place was perfect for a weekend getaway from DFW. We stayed at site 2, area was level, property was great. Paul was easy to contact. Only cons are you can hear the road, but not much traffic at night and once the Bullfrogs get started they drown it out. Also water access at site 2 is difficult, but looks to be a work in progress. From the looks of site 1 it will be great when done.
