SPECIAL NOTE: Our property experienced a direct hit by the recent hurricane. We've been able to make all the repairs to the property except the replacement of the walkway to the beach. The walkway to the beach was destroyed by the recent hurricane. With the recent supply chain problems, we can't predict when we'll be able to purchase the materials or hire someone to build a new walkway. I have made the next 3 months unavailable because of the walkway damage. If you would like to reserve the space without the walkway to the beach, please send me an email via hipcamp with the days you'd like to reserve the space and I will open those dates.
Private lot on the Gulf of Mexico in Sargent, Texas. Just walk across the on-property private walkway to the Gulf of Mexico. Full RV Hookups - water, electrical (50A/30A/20A), & sewage. Mid-Week Summer Special only $30 a night for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday night stays. 70+ feet of concrete pad and driveway inside the fenced yard with plenty of space for all RVs. 20x20 canopy on site to provide shade.
Property is fully fenced. The entrance gate is 16' wide. Yard is all St. Augustine grass. Very clean and maintained. Pets are welcome.
This property is tailored for RVs, 5th Wheels, Travel Trailers, and Motorhomes that have black and grey tanks and can hold their waste water (shower, toilet, and washing) for dumping into the on-site water treatment unit. You must have your own shower, sinks, and toilet on your rig with holding tanks for black and grey water and the ability to dump into the dump location on the property.
The pictures of the property show a line of granite blocks between the property and the beach. The granite forms a seawall (called the revetment wall) that was installed by the Corp of Engineers and prevents beach erosion. Depending on the tides, sometimes the Gulf waters hit the wall and there is very little beach area in front of the property. Sometimes, there is a large beach area. If the water is against the seawall and you’re looking for beach area, there are several beach entrances along Canal Drive within driving and walking distance.

The best campsite we have ever been
This was the most amazing place! Behind us we could see the barges being pushed through the ship channel, in front of us was nothing but water. Even at night when it was dark out, the stars were shining bright and you could hear the waves coming in. I’ve never been to a campsite before that held me in such awe.
Jim and Lori were perfect hosts. Reaching out on email and text messages to make sure we knew how to get there and how to work everything. Gave us his cell in case we had any issues.
We’ve already booked a 5-day trip at the end of the year and looking at other months to come back again.
We loved the fenced campsite for our dogs, and made sure to scoop everything before we left. The concrete pad was perfect to lounge on at the back of our camper to watch the waves.
Perfect little spot on the gulf
Great, well-maintained site right on the gulf! We had plenty of space to back in our 24’ travel trailer, and due to the location of our connections, we did not need extensions to hook up to power, water, or sewer. The concrete pad was perfectly level and made setting up camp quick and easy. We had enough room to set up our pop-up screen room at the end of the concrete pad facing the gulf, and our dog enjoyed running around on the grass in the fenced yard. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular and we had the beach all to ourselves during our stay. We felt safe in the area, which is very remote and quiet with private residences and few businesses. Fantastic communication from the hosts who were very helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!
A great place to kick back and rela
Great place to get away from crowded campgrounds. Nice quiet beach to walk, fenced in yard for pets and perched right on the gulf. Plus, one very cool bridge to get out to the property.
