Great spot for visiting Big Bend NP! The entrance is ~ 5 miles from this camp, you can't get much closer, and considering there are hundreds of miles of roads in the park, even if you were closer to the entrance, it wouldn't matter much.

Rob was a great host, very friendly. We stayed 4 nights in the RV spot, which is perfect. Relatively level, easy parking, lots of room to maneuver while parking. Has new and very reliable 30/50 amp power. The wifi is very good. My wife and I were both on Zoom calls for work at the same time with no issue. This was critical as cell service is a weak 3G signal!

Make sure you come with a full water tank, there's no water or sewer. We planned accordingly and were good for 4 nights.

(I should note this spot is particularly good compared to the RV parks in town. We drove past several of them and they are close to the road and they cram the RV's in there. None of them look particularly well kept, either. Cell service isn't much better in town either and I wouldn't count on the wifi (if it's even available) from the looks of some of the parks we saw in town).

Overall the property is great too, at 20 acres there's plenty of room to walk around which was great for our dog.

There were a few other campers there, who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Again the property is big so there could be a lot of people here before you'd feel cramped.

We watched beautiful sunsets every night from the property and even watched the sunrise once when we got up for an early hike. If the clouds and moon cooperate it's VERY dark on the property, perfect for stargazing.

If there's a downside to the RV spot its that its close to the road. If your a sensitive sleeper the noise could be an issue. But it didn't bother us. I should also add this is a pretty remote area so there are very few cars on the road at night in the first place.

Highly recommend on the whole.

Looking back from the west edge of the property, in the far distance you can see our trailer, the property is huge! Great for walking our dog.Another camper enjoying their stayLooking east back towards the trailerLooking west out over the property

We loved our stay at Coyote RV Crossing! This was the perfect home base to explore Big Bend National Park! The national park entrance is only about 15 minutes away, and restaurants, grocery store, and gas just minutes down the road in Terilingua and Ghost Town! The views from the RV pad are beautiful, electricity works great, and he even offers wifi- which worked great! Also, loved talking with Rob about all of his own travel adventures, and he gave some great recommendations for the area! We felt really lucky to also see some Coyotes one night! Overall a great stay and we look forward to visiting again!

Rob was the most accommodating host! He is full of knowledge and ideas about the area! We thoroughly enjoyed his stories. We had the only electric spot at the front of the property, which turned out perfectly for us with our 37-foot toy hauler and 3500 diesel dually truck. Sunsets were fabulous and amenities were a short ride down the road. Rob has multiple dry camping sites as well on the property. We highly recommend Coyote Crossing!

Rob was very friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. We stayed in the one electric spot he has and we were happy with our 6-night stay. The site didn’t have water hookup, yet we were happy to not be staying side-by-side other RVs like we saw at other campgrounds. The tent sites were large areas, far apart from one another. We were there when the full moon didn’t help with star gazing but we were still able to see the Milky Way. We would definitely recommend Coyote Crossing!

Rob is the best host! Great WiFi, if you need it. Great location. Plenty of room to hike on his property, if you want. This was our second time to stay with him and won't be our last!

This is my 2nd time staying at Coyote. This time a buddy secured his own spot as well. Great location a mile from town. Rob is an all around good guy who offers a good experience with recommendations on things to do for first time Big Bend visitors. Will stay again.
