Great clean campsite.
Quiet campground mostly for horses but I enjoy car camping and seeing the horses. Very clean and well thought out bathroom and shower. Horse themed. Picnic tables and trash cans on site. Close to Big South Fork where I went hiking.
We enjoyed our stay at spruce creek and being able to enjoy petting the many different horses. If you are looking for a great place to board your horses and enjoy riding them at your leisure then give Cary a call and guarantee she will be as courteous and kind as anyone u could meet. Great people
Labor day get-away
We had a very nice 4-day stay. Cary was extremely helpful with things to do in the area information. She stopped and took the time to chat with us. If you bring your own horses, it would be a beautiful place to camp and ride.
Excellent for car camping
The campsite was perfect for what we needed. It’s a great flat area with a fire pit, water and electricity. We car camped in the rain and hiked all the next day and beautiful weather. I appreciate frog for meeting me and show me around his awesome campsite!!
Nice and Quiet! We had the place to ourselves for the most part and truly enjoyed the immaculate bathhouse! A hot shower after a hike is the best. Wonderful campsite area in site 2. It appears more gravel and leveling has been done since the pictures were taken so they are apparently improving as well. Had trouble as a late arrival finding our site in the dark, but woke up to the beautiful horses by the pond. Would recommend!
I really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to just get out of the city and relax and be able to go hiking at the nearby parks. I would recommend bit only thing you need to know is there are horses. That aspect I liked but it wouldn't be for everybody just know to expect that.
We had a great stay at Spruce Creek Campground. The hosts were friendly, and gave us some good information on some activities to do in the area. The bathrooms were very clean and well attended and the campground itself was immaculate. We will definitely be back.
