Beautiful stay, very clean
Very clean tent and beautiful spot in the evenings to camp. We loved listening to the crickets throughout the night. Host was accommodating and quick to respond.
If you are wanting to do a fire or need chargers or WiFi, I would recommend communicating this ahead of time with the host so they can prepare. There was no wood for the fire on hand and the solar power charger was dead when we got there. It had just rained so the fire pit was flooded. We didn’t need these things so we were fine, but if you will try to plan ahead of time so those things can be ready for you. It is a great location in Knoxville so we were close to everything we needed!
Fun little getaway! Lots a little well thought out details like a battery to charge your phone. Would have been nice if the grass were cut a bit more. It’s kind of closer to main house than we expected, but it’s still private and there’s some brush and bushes so you can’t see it from the camp site. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
The tent was really nice, and is secluded in the backyard. Although there is technically space to cram 6 people inside, our family of 4 was on top of each other. Again, we really enjoyed our time here (and our kids loved it) but it would have been helpful knowing there was only 1 bed, and the portable toilet was somewhat of a hike.
Peaceful stop on a long road trip
We arrived late and the directions were perfect. A beautiful location close to Knoxville, this was a great stop on a very long road trip from New York to Texas, exploring Blue Ridge and Smokeys. Great canvas tent, grounds well kept, we had a very peaceful rest. Highly recommend.
Car campers suburban hideout
We had a very pleasant stay. The tent was a lot of fun and very well outfitted. My favorite was the outdoor shower stall and sun shower. It’s not a site you can hike to or from, but there are lots of hiking opportunities within short driving distance. We were sung to sleep by a chorus of frogs and cicadas and the lightening bugs put on a good show at dawn and dusk. With downtown Knoxville < 10 minutes away it was a fun clamping experience. Look further out of town I’d you want to camp in the wild.
