This 28 hectare property features all the elements for camping adventures surrounded by nature. Located near Nubeena on the Tasman Peninsula the open pasture is encircled by native forest with views to Norfolk Bay. Arrive here by vehicle from Nubeena, accessing the property via the Nubeena Back Road. The campsite is best best suited to 4WD vehicles and self-contained 4WD campers who must bring their own toilet/shower facilities, drinking water and supplies. No pets due to the native fauna. Campfires are permitted in the dedicated fire pit locations. Roaring Beach and White Beach are only a short drive away for swimming in fresh, pristine waters. The native dry eucalyptus forest supports an abundance of wildlife. Explore the slopes to discover the wombats, quolls, potoroos and wallabies and look to the skies for the nesting pair of wedge tailed eagles.

      Nice spot, unfortunately grass couldn't be slashed due to wet weather. Stayed in quarry which offered wind protection and nice views.

      Camping with a view
      What a view! Unfortunately, we could not stay at the camp due to the weather and constant rain over the last weeks before our stay and the soak paddocks. But we enjoyed the views and will come back to have a nice summer stay in this beautiful part of Tasmania

      Away from everything bliss
      This was a blissfully peaceful away from it all spot to camp, with gorgeously serene distant views of the hills and the sea. We enjoyed the proximity to wildlife. A great spot for self-sufficient campers looking for peace and solitude.

      Such a beautiful, private camp! Stunning views, plenty of firewood, and an incredibly serene spot during the chaos of school holidays! Would definitely recommend!!

      Loved Claire’s hipcamp so much we came back a second time, 2 weeks later with other friends! Private, quiet, spacious with beautiful views over the hills to the ocean! Claire is really friendly, responsive and so helpful!
