Couple of nice fish and even spotted a local Platypus
From the moment that Derek met us the gate and showed us to the block he was an absolute pleasure to deal with
Just arrived home and feasting out on baked trout from our weekend adventure

We had an enjoyable time, the peaceful sound of the the River Derwent passing by, the odd platapuss with sounds of birds made it a memorable time away.

Awesome little spot by the river. Liked the fact you have the whole area for your group and as such our dogs could roam around freely. Definitely will be back to kayak the river.

Amazing location, right on the river and completely private with the paddock to yourself. Derek is an amazing host, did everything he could to help out, while letting us enjoy our camp. I've stayed at many campsites in Tasmania over the last 20 years, and I rate Derek's property in the top 10 - I'd happily pay double what was charged to stay here.
The river is clean enough for cooking, boiling etc. Can fish right out the front of the Campsite. Generator friendly with no other campers. Phone reception is patchy (telstra). Township 5 minutes down the road for supplies. 5 out of 5 stars from me, can't wait to stay again

Just spent a weekend at Ryelands Farm and Vineyard. What a fabulous spot. Picture perfect. It is a wonderful place for a beautiful relaxing weekend to just sit by the river and enjoy the surrounds.
I can’t speak highly enough of Derek our host. We were met at the gate on arrival and shown to our little piece of paradise. His knowledge of the area is fabulous and he was very interesting to chat to. He is so obliging and helpful but still respects your privacy.
Thank you for allowing us to experience your amazing property and we will definitely be back Malcolm and Janelle

An excellent stay in a lovely quiet area near the Derwent River. It was very easy to locate Ryelands Farm and Vineyards and Derek is a fabulous host who met me at the front gate. Derek supplied a couple of nights of firewood and there was a firepit nearby although I used my own firepit. The ambience os the Derwent river flowing by was nice and the overall area was peaceful and quiet. A large flat area to park and very close to the river. Not very far to drive to a main township with shops, supermarket, petrol stations and even a McDonalds. I'll certainly be back again.

Lovely view across to the Derwent River from the camping area
