Re-opening!

Guests must be fully self-contained with own amenities (toilet/shower) and must 'leave no trace'.

Campsites are alongside Franklin Rivulet at Harford, a picturesque tidal estuary, providing leisure activities such as fishing, kayaking, bushwalking, bird watching, oystering, wildlife spotting, egg collecting, and dog patting.

This is a natural campground - the land is gently undulating both directions - down to the water and up to a densely wooded hill.  There are large shade trees and open areas.

Located just 15mins to Port Sorell, Bakers Beach, Narawntapu NP, and Anvers Chocolate Factory. 25mins to Devonport, 1hr to Launceston, 1.5hrs to Cradle Mt and surrounded by attractions from berry farms to wineries and stunning farmland.

We have recently returned to the property and will again begin building our farm. Fresh herbs, plants, veg and eggs will be available in the future.  The fishing can be good and we offer kayak hire too - it’s a fantastic spot to take a trip up or down the river.

Our property is open by appointment only.

Pets welcome.

A nice place to stay! Quiet bush setting with good fishing.
Centrally located to many other destinations.
Try the farms pork sausages and keep an eye out for a pair of wedge tail eagles.

We absolutely loved Farm on Franklin. Sarah and Mark are lovely and are excellent hosts. Waking up with a beautiful view of the river was amazing. We could not recommend this place highly enough. We stayed for 5 night but still wished we had longer! Amazing!

We booked a spot at Farm On Franklin for 2 weeks over Christmas and New year.
What a lovely spot to sit and relax watching the chooks, geese and pigs. We also had a go of their kayaks which was great fun. You are close to so many places here and yet secluded. Mark & Sarah went above & beyond

Thanks Mark and Sarah for sharing your amazing property. I love the feel and vibe about the place.
We especially loved having the fire lit for our arrival even when it was bucketing down.
We loved it much that we returned again within two weeks of Our initial visit. Adrian and family..

Thank you both, Mark and Sarah for being great hosts over my two day stopover. Your place is private, picturesque and quiet - all the right ingredients which travellers look for. The road in may be interesting for larger motorhomes in the wet, but I found it no problem even with front wheel drive :)
