Campsites are alongside Franklin Rivulet- a picturesque tidal estuary in northern TAS. Farm on Franklin provides leisure activities such as fishing, kayaking, bushwalking, bird watching, oystering (please cook them), and wildlife spotting. 15mins to Port Sorell, Bakers Beach, Narawntapu NP, & Chocolate Factory. 25mins to Devonport, 1hr to Launceston, 1.5hrs to Cradle Mt & surrounded by attractions from Berry Farms to Wineries and stunning farmland. This is a beautiful natural campsite on land near our home. You'll need to have your own power, toilet/shower and leave no trace. Please note: We have recently undertaken levelling earthworks and many sites are bare earth. We recommended using a mat, we have a limited number available to lend, however we recommend you bring one if you have one. Looking forward to grassed sites in a few months!

Farm on Franklin - Tasmania
Lovely peaceful spot overlooking Franklin Rivulet which is tidal saltwater so wasn’t really suitable for our Hobi pedal kayak, but we enjoyed the serenity and were able to have a well supervised campfire. Some wood was left each day. It was a good place to do day drives to Narawntapu National Park and Port Sorell. Lots of tall trees along the edge which we avoided with our big caravan but we found a suitable spot. Thank you Sarah for allowing us to share your peaceful space.

The camp was close to the river . The setting was tranquil and quiet. Sarah was most helpful, Greeted us on arrival and offered any help and support we needed. Great spot to camp.

Farm on Franklin - Tasmania
Nice spot, lovely hosts and their delightful children. The river is tidal but can go kayaking and fishing most of the day. A jetty as well not far from camp-site which is nice and large fire pit with seating, table and lights for a get together. Thanks Sara and Mark.
