Welcome to the fresh Tassie country air. Our property is located south of Hobart, with open green paddocks surrounded by rolling hills and woodland.

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is a steep drive down to the paddock, 4WD is best but have had 2WD vehicles in and out when it is dry. One single party booking at a time, keep it all to yourself and share with a group of friends/travellers.

Our paddock is skirted by a flowing creek which you can draw water from and is in a rural area. We have lots of wallabies and possums, and if you're lucky you'll get to see the local platypus!

We have many sites but take only one party at a time so it is all yours! One party includes a group of people camping/travelling together and allows for multiple vans and tents. We are flexible on numbers and length of stay (including a discount for a long stay). Get in touch if you would like to discuss!

You can choose any area on the paddock to set up - in the past campers have chosen a site that gives them complete privacy.

Fire-pot provided, barrow of firewood available to purchase as an extra.

Ideally situated between Hobart and the Huon Valley. We are Close to the Longley Hotel which serves meals and has regular live music. 1.5km to Sandfly General Store. 10 minutes drive to a dump point.

Please take your rubbish with you and be respectful of wildlife.

Pets welcome.

Fantastic green space with a beautiful little creek to explore. Easy access with a full size Van. Driveway as described, steep, but no problem in the dry.
Lovely host Jenni greeted us on arrival and pointed out the local features for the kids to explore. Loved it

Jenni's place was a peaceful and private paradise. With a gorgeous creek running right beside camp, lots of well cared for green grass for the kids to play on, this place is top notch. Jenni was the perfect host. Great base for travelling south and to Hobart. Would highly recommend.

We loved Creekside Camp. Jenni's beautiful property is just stunning. We used Creekside camp as a base to visit family and friends. It is only 20 minutes to Hobarts CBD so we were able to combine camping in a beautiful natural setting, 800 metres from a great pub and a magic swimming hole reserve, with time in the city shopping, catching family and attending a concert. Jenni was very friendly and helpful. Creek, bush and open ground. Wonderful.
