Our site is positioned on a section of our 3 acre block that is totally private from our residence. The site is not just in a paddock but is surrounded by beautiful native trees and garden - there is a small camp shelter with power, bench, sink, hot water and a bar fridge. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after a swim.

The beach is a 5 minute walk away. We have a deck positioned to pull up to next to the shed. Clifton Beach is a beachside community located on the south arm peninsula 25 minutes from Hobart city and is the closest surf beach to Hobart.
The south arm peninsula itself has many great walks and beautiful beaches. It is a great spot to base yourself to explore Hobart and local attractions. e.g Port Arthur 90 minutes.

Great set-up. Nice area. Friendly host. Closer to housing than we imagined seeing the website, but this did not cause us any problem. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent two night stay! There is a very easy spot to park adjacent to a large deck area with a walkway that leads to the hut. The hut has a wood heater, sink, hot water and power as well as an outdoor shower. There’s a nice little fire pit area outside too.
The place was very clean, had everything we needed and the hosts’ communication was excellent.
Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at this exceptionally well set up and private Hipcamp.
The kids loved the short stroll down to the beach, the wildlife and exploring some of the local tracks. There was plenty of space to throw a frisbee and play ball games.
The fire pot and facilities were a bonus and made our stay so much more enjoyable.
We had no problems getting our 21' caravan in and out of the property.
Highly recommend. Will visit again. :-)

Lovely spot to set up to access Hobart/Tasman Peninsula.
Lots of birdlife and we saw a bandicoot. There are some walks in the immediate area if you fancy that.

We both had a great stop over at Alan and Lyn's place. They have a nice quiet location and waking up to the sound of. birds and the ocean was a delight. We will be coming again.

What a great escape!
Located near picturesque lagoon waters with famous Clifton Beach a 5 minute walk away . The camp site is private, wind protected and quiet. There is plenty of bird life and the little Bandicoots hopping about provide good entertainment. Lyn and Allan are helpful, easy to talk to and knowledgeable of the local area and the needs of travelers.
The camp shelter provides a cosy retreat with a slow burner stove, hot water, outside shower and power/water to meet all your needs. The timber annex floor is a welcome extra.
We enjoyed day trips into Hobart and walking the surrounding nature reserves.

Overall was nice, not as private as we would have liked, Camp kitchen was very good, The hot water was appreciated, Hosts were great.
