Welcome! Our small 1880's farm has a lovely view of the pasture, creek, and surrounding farms. We have pet pigs, cow, horse, donkeys, chickens, dogs, and cats.  We have about 30 acres of homestead, pastures, gardens, and creek to wander during your stay. Our place is a great place to stop on the way to or from Badlands National Park/The Black Hills. Located just 20 minutes south of Sioux Falls, we are conveniently 4 miles off of Interstate 29 on a paved road.  Our newly restored 1890's barn is a farm store where you can purchase drinks, snacks, in-season produce, eggs, honey and more. Our farm is a nice place to relax after a day on the road. All of our tent sites have a picnic table, fire ring and lots of space for you to spread out. There are walking paths around the property so you can enjoy the beauty of a South Dakota sunset/sunrise. The portable toilet is sanitized several times per day.  Hope to see you soon!

Sites are available first-come, first-served.  We have 2 sites in the pasture near the creek and one near the homestead in the shelter belt.  In the event of high winds, we'll try to relocate you to a place as protected from the wind as possible while maintaining some space and privacy.  These sites will accommodate RV's but DO NOT have ELECTRICITY .  PLEASE NOTE: THESE CAMPSITES DO NOT HAVE ELECTRIC. IF YOU NEED ELECTRIC PLEASE BOOK OUR LISTING NAMED THE GOOD EARTH FARM RV

Firewood is available on-site, check the extras for details.  We reserve the right to prohibit fires if we feel it's too dry or windy.

VERY hospitable crew, beautiful farm with a cozy feel. Cute little fresh produce stand and nice bathroom. Great safe place to rest your head on a road trip like I, or even cute for a weekend away with the family. Walking trails and cute creek.

This was the perfect place to start our roadtrip and our first Hipcamp experience. The farm was easy to find, Nancy was very responsive, and everything was as advertised. We stayed down by the creek and there were plenty of options for where to set up the tent. The picnic table was close to the fire ring which we didn't use, but there was some dried wood there. It was fun to see the animals and they didn't bother us a bit. The bathrooms were a toilet and sink which was perfect. The cedar wood smelled great! We enjoyed the stars at night and the sunrise and breeze in the morning. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The Good Earth Farm should maybe be renamed “A little Slice of Heaven farm”. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and with a warm welcome we found our spot. Take advantage of walking the property, meeting the animals especially Weird Harold! The finished barn is breathtaking and a place of respite with Wi-Fi (if you need) and a cold beer. Traveling in a campervan with 2 dogs if I find myself I’m the area again will absolutely revisit. In the meantime I’ll be repping my The Good Earth Farm T-shirt on my travels.

We had a pleasant stay at Good Earth Farm. Buck was the best! What a cool dog. The farm animals are all so chill and the location was perfect for our adventure. Thanks again!
