Description

Newton Hills Campground sits along the banks of Sargeant Creek, just a short walk to Lake Lakota. This is a great place to camp if you’re attending one of the folk concerts or other events in the park. The Sioux River Folk Festival is one of the most popular—it’s a 3-day event held each August. Visitors can also find lots of water activities to keep 'em busy, like swimming, boating, and fishing. Or, just lie around on the beach. No judgement.
