Would you like to wake up to stunning views of the Mount Lofty Ranges while camping amongst a vineyard, surrounded by big beautiful gum trees and and native birds singing sweetly all around you?

Well here at Hay Valley Farm that’s exactly what’s on offer.

We have a smaller site available for a couple or a family who want a quiet and peaceful spot to set up a tent, camper trailer or small RV amongst our vineyard with gorgeous views down the valley.

You'll get to see stunning sunsets, abundant bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky. We also have cheeky goats who live with us at the farm and they are more than happy to share your snacks and of course a scratch.

The Vineyard site is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. Lot 100, Howard Vineyard, Murdoch Hill, Artwine, Bird In Hand Winery, Simon Tolley Wines and Barristers Block Wines are only a short drive away. So we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views, peaceful surroundings and award winning wineries and eateries close by.

And after a day of touring the region make sure you're back in time to watch the sun go down because the sunsets are spectacular.

So don't forget to pack your comfy camp chair, a bottle of wine or beer, and a cheese platter and get ready to relax and unwind at The Vineyard at Hay Valley.

*Please note we only book one group at a time at the site so if you book you'll have the whole area to yourself. Also this site is close to a dirt road but it's not that busy.

We loved the location and whilst the road is adjacent it is quiet and you can set up so that you really feel like you have the view to your self. Plus its only about 30-40 minutes from Adelaide and a short trip to local facilities if you need supplies.
The setup location is between 2 large gum trees which offer nice shade but you're not right under them. The sunset over the vines makes for a brilliant dinner setting. We had a strong wind gust that came through at night but the rest of the time was perfect. The access has a slight rise to it but we have a low car and a trailer and got in and out just fine. The surrounding paddocks and owners land has goats and cows that come to say hello, but they don't disturb your stay in any way. Along with native bird life that are abundant. We are very keen to come back and have another couple of days.

Such a beautiful little place to camp out in the Adelaide Hills. The host was excellent with communication and directions. The vineyard has amazing views of the nearby scenery and a lovely view of Mount Lofty. Was able to have a lovely fire and sit back underneath the beautiful gums on site. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great little spot nestled between the vineyard and a bunch of charismatic goats. Views over the valley. Host very helpful in providing directions and information. Perfect for those who like to camp self sufficiently.

Unfortunately it was too windy to camp the night however Laurise was nice enough to let us reschedule for a later date. Very nice responsive host. Can't wait to spend the night at the site.

What a lovely little spot! Great to have it all to ourselves. Watching the sheep and alpacas wander around was a treat too.

We really enjoyed this patch of earth in the Adelaide Hills! Stunning sunsets and sunrises! Close to all attractions in the area ... we also enjoyed the new SideWood. Nice to feel part of a growing vineyard and very good to be the only ones there. Meet the host briefly and she was helpful and nice. Enjoyed ourselves and would go again. Need to be self contained of course

Nice spot not too far from home and great views to the Mount Lofty Ranges. Goats in the paddock next to us were also well received by my kid (no pun intended!). Great for a quick night away for us!

Fantastic spot overlooking the small vineyard and across the valley towards the hills.
Great sunset also.
Although in our small motorhome we were fine however access to the vineyard camp spot is tight and not sure a car & caravan would gey through.
Thanks guys for sharing your property

Hi Paul thanks so much for your review. Hope you're enjoying the rest of your trip. We do actually say in the description that the site is small and only for smaller RV's, tents, camper trailers etc. We also double check what size RV people are staying in before we approve their booking. We have a larger site perfect for big RV's that we direct people too if we think their RV will be too big. Maybe you can stay there instead next time you're passing through. But we're so glad you enjoyed The Vineyard spot, as it's pretty special.
