At The Landing you'll be surrounded by big beautiful old gum trees in a peaceful farm setting. You'll see a variety of bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky. We also have cheeky goats who live with us at the farm and they are more than happy to share your snacks and of course a scratch.
The Landing is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. Lot 100, Howard Vineyard, Murdoch Hill, Artwine, Bird In Hand Winery, Simon Tolley Wines and Barristers Block Wines are only a short drive away. So we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views, peaceful surroundings and award winning wineries and eateries close by.
And after a day of touring the region make sure you're back in time to watch the sun go down because the sunsets are spectacular.
So don't forget to pack your comfy camp chair, a bottle of wine or beer, and a cheese platter and get ready to relax and unwind at The Landing at Hay Valley.
Please read and note the following:
1) We only book one group at a time at the site so if you book you'll have the whole area to yourself.
2) There are no toilet/shower facilities available so please be self sufficient.
3) There are sheep and four friendly male goats living on the site at the moment. The sheep won't bother you but the goats may come and say hello but shouldn't bother you. Please don't feed them as then they will pester you.

The Landing is a perfect serene spot to stay a night. Views over the valley are spectacular and the beautiful old gum trees give the place a really magical feeling.
The sheep and goats are delightful company too!

Our favourite camp-site of our whole trip, The Landing was perfect! If you're looking for peace, solitude and stunning views, then this is it. Directions were clear and The Landing was easy to find. Loved it! Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot to camp and relax. Quiet set amounts the gums on farm land with the most perfect view. Loved the sunsets and listening to the Kookaburras.

This is an awesome spot, your the only one here, the "landing" is perfectly positioned for amazing views, the subsets are spectacular.
Booking was so easy Laurise was so helpful and the booking was a breeze, we will be back if not to be able to firs up the fire pit which would take it to another level. This has to be one of the closest and best sites we have stayed at, adding to our fave list.
