Wallaroo has excellent fishing both off the jetty and by boat. The foreshore is well developed and has safe swimming areas for people of all ages. There is a new shopping centre open which is available 7 days a week.

This area is historic due to the early mining of copper making up the Copper Triangle between Wallaroo, Kadina and Moonta. There are Pubs and restaurants in close proximity and the town of Kadina, which is 7 kms away there is every service you want from a major town.

The beautiful Moonta Bay and Port Hughes are just 15 minutes drive away. Further south there are national parks and wild Surf beaches like Pondalowie Bay and Innes National Park.

Wallaroo is about 1.5hours drive from Adelaide so its an easy trip up from the capital city of SA.
