Quiet and calm
The campsite looks nearer to the house than it is so if you want privacy this is not the problem you think. There is a great abundance of animals (the koala that walked through kept my daughter fascinated for hours). There is a nice path for a walk up the back that has a lot of different routes that you will find something new each day. Would book again.

Peace amongst the chestnuts!
Flat piece of recently slashed long grass up at the rear of a rather steep block. This makes the views great but some may find it a challenge to get in. Would be nice when the fire ban lifts. No amenities but you have access to a rainwater tank. Chestnut trees everywhere. Saw quite a few kangaroos. Very peaceful.

A great single camp-site that allowed us peace and tranquillity. We loved how it was nestled on a large hill, overlooking fantastic views. Leigh and Christine's directions to the property and their communication with us, was excellent. Jayden and Bron

We had a great stay at Chestnut Grove. So close to get to from Adelaide but peaceful and quiet to make you feel like you are way further out than you are. Great views. Dog friendly. A handy fire pit as well. Thanks Leigh

Loved it!
10/10! We loved our short stay. The drive up is simply amazing and the view was spectacular in the afternoon. Leigh and his wife very generously gave us some plum wine and fresh strawberries, with wood for the fire already in place. The water from their natural spring was delicious. Hopefully will be back!
