We have a 40 acre property where we practice Permaculture and Bio Dynamic farming, the farm is situated in rainforest country, is very quiet and peaceful with lots of gardens and animals.

We are 100% committed to sustainable living and do our best to do this. We have a 40 acre property with only about 10 acres cleared and the rest is natural rainforest. We have only been living here since September 2011 so everything is still a work in progress but it is all coming together really great. We have cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, geese, peacocks, guinea fowl, pigeons, quails a cat and a brilliant Border Collie dog called Buddy.

We have a substantial vegie garden with a large variety of plants and also about 100 fruit trees in our orchard. Everything is done on Permaculture and Bio Dynamic (Demeter) principles with all animal manures are recycled via compost back into the soil.

Loved it. Peter and Saeng were welcoming, warm and respectful. Couldn’t recommend more. The dog is the sweetest, the outdoor fire bath is a must. 10/10

Absolutely incredible experience at Peter and Saeng's farm! 10/10 allround.
We booked for 5 nights in our own caravan and ended up staying for a couple of weeks to help out on the farm a little because we just loved it here. 40 acres of bushland with massive market garden, 200-300 species of edibles, a pond, 4 cows, poultry and huge woodmill - this place is a nature lovers dream. They are the most generous, kind and lovely people and we were sorry to leave. We loved camping under the stars with a fire, eating more types of spinach than i knew existed and getting to know Peter and Saeng. Can't recomend this place highly enough!

Green oasis 20 min away from Cooktown. Peter and Saeng are lovely people and great hosts, very generous and friendly. Buddy, the resident Border Collie is a very good boy :)
Their garden is lush, healthy and beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay there and the opportunity to learn more about permaculture.

Our stay on Zazen with Peter and Sange was one of our best Hip Camp experiences to date.
They were extremely hospitable hosts. We learnt a lot about permaculture farming, sampled some of the fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Buddy their adorable Border Collie would hang out at our campsite with us and our dogs.
The property is a tropical oasis a short drive to Cooktown.
One of our highlights was the outdoor woodfired bath. A bucket list to soak in a bath with a glass of champagne under the stars.
We will definitely stay with Peter and Sange the next time we are in Cooktown

What a place. What amazing people. Thank you so much for having us at your inspirational home and making us feel so welcome. We loved our chats over tea, sharing exotic fruit, tours of your house, workshop and projects. The wood fire bath for us to use later under the stars was the perfect extra touch. We can’t wait to come and see you again in the future :) Emily and Greg

We stayed here for a few nights to explore Cooktown with our two children aged 6 and 11 and they LOVED it! They both said it was their favorite place so far and we felt like we were in a little bit of natural paradise surrounded by banana tress, wildlife and the hosts pets including their dog Buddy who spent most of our time with us at camp to the delight of the kids. The kids were able to feed the chickens and collect eggs with resident turkey and loved being out on this farm. Only 20 minutes to Cooktown and close to Isabella Falls we would definately recommend this place.

Peter and Sang were welcoming hosts and took delight in showing me around the garden and introducing me to new foods.
