Twilight Grove is 120 acres of horse paddocks and peaceful natural bushland adjoining 2500 acres of State Forest. The property gives a safe haven for all native animals. Enjoy bush walking and mountain bike riding in the forest. We have a number of sites to choose from. Wivenhoe & Somerset Dams are nearby and you can sail and waterski on Somerset Dam. Fishing is also good. Gypsy Field is a gentle sloping, grassed paddock with limited shade. There are no toilets & showers. Suits self contained campers only. Dogs friendly! Silky Oak is the smallest area which could comfortably take two caravans. The area is a flat shady space among trees. Banksia Grove Camp area is not grassed, it is surrounded by trees.  Shady Hollow is a grassed area surrounded with trees. Suitable for four caravans Suits self contained travellers as there are no amenities.  Your holidaying horses are welcome here too, please book as an Extra (BYO feed). This property suits self contained travellers as there are no amenities.  Dogs are welcome!

Frog Hollow - Site 2
I didn't end up staying here. I never found Frog Hollow Site 2. The track and campsites were overgrown and I don't believe are still functioning as campsites. Shady Hollow was the only site that looked habitable but as that was not my booking site I didn't set up there. The phone number on the booking page doesn't ring and no one replied to my email from the day before. There was no one on the property to speak to. I checked and I have been charged for my stay but it wouldn't let me cancel the booking on the day to get my money back. I would not recommend.

Shady Hollow - Site 2
Our stay at Shady Hollow was all we needed. A lovely site, private and quiet with birds and the occasional kangaroo to keep us company. Isla and Ken are wonderful hosts ensuring we were settled and sharing their local knowledge to assist in our activity planning. We had a wonderful and restful stay

Shady Hollow - Site 2
When we arrived we were put right next to another camper even though most of the spots were empty. To be honest we were under the impression that the camping spots were much bigger and more secluded, away from each other. The Shady Hollow sites (4 of them) and Silky Oak sites (2 of them) are right next to each other and provide no privacy what so ever. The sites are also relatively small, just pretty much fit our car and tent. We are just always looking for places to camp in more generous space where we can let the kids roam and relax without the neighbours watching and breathing in our necks. Nevertheless we had a nice stay as it wasn’t very busy and we spent most of our days out exploring and bike riding. At night the place was lovely and quiet.

Nice quiet bush camp where you can relax and unwind. Plenty of space with loads of wildlife to observe. Our little Staffy loved relaxing with us around the fireplace during the night. The hosts were lovely...thankyou Isla and Ken.

Country Side Escape
The silky Oak campsite is a wonderful escape from the rat race, set in beautiful countryside, with plenty of shaded camping spots and play areas for the kids, it is well equipped with water, a kitchen and an abundance of wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be returning, thank you Isla and Ken for your sharing your wonderful property with us and extending your heart on your sleeve country hospitality.

First Time Hip Campers
We absolutely loved the camp spot, quiet, spacious & easy to access. There was a fire drum set up with plenty of wood to burn (don’t forget the chainsaw though) The nights around the fire were even more spectacular with stars as far as the eye can see. The hosts were such lovely people. For our first time ever off grid it was definitely a great experience 😊
