Due to our extended and continuous wet weather , we have currently reduced our availability to four sites only and to 4WD accessibility only, unless you book the Dam , we ask our campers to minimise driving on the property. If wet, please engage 4WD and stay out of the ruts. As much as we would love to fix the roads, due to the wet we just haven't had the right conditions at the right time to do so. It you want to drive to the Dam from Didjabringyabeeralong, the Black Stump or Dolittle, you can drive out gate 3 turn right and come back in gate 4, or you are more than welcome to WALK the internal roads We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book. If you are one of our valued regulars, thank you, we love hosting you on the property and always look forward to see you again. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy, and we are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in 4WD or 2WD access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and there are floating noodles for your use during the summer months. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains, Stoney creek, Rocky holes, Bribie island, Woodford, Mt Mee, Montville, Maleny and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, servo, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. If you are looking for a dump point around the area, www.unitywater.com has a list of available dump points with addresses. If you have any questions please drop us a message.

Dolittle
A wonderful, peaceful space
I loved my camp with Doris and Peter. The setting is beautiful, there is ample space between camp-sites and plenty of trails to walk and explore. The toilet was also nice and clean. The property is nicely tucked away, but if you forget something (like insect repellant - oops!), there is a service station 5 minutes away. I am looking forward to heading back and enjoying this space again.

Didjabringyabeeralong
Bloody Oath I did.
The site is called Didjabringyabeeralong, and yes I did. There are a number of beautiful sites on the land and we intend to come back and try the other sites. We could see other camper, though only just unlike many places where campers are way too close to eachother. Doris is a wonderful lady and made us feel extremely valued and wanted.

The Dam at the Rustic Resort
We loved our 2 day escape at the Rustic Dam over the Easter long weekend. The dam was an amazing backdrop and was so lovely floating around…. Doris is a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful.

Great spot
Great spot yet again. Loved seeing the ducks on the dam and listening to all the wildlife as it became night time.

The Black Stump
We had a lovely stay at the black stump. The first night there was nobody else which was nice. Doris came to see us and we had some good conversations. We would return here.
