Nestled amongst massive native trees which thrive on this fertile creek frontage, this undulating campsite boasts close proximity to our 'Spring Creek'. Fed by seasonal springs, waterholes litter the creek bed as it winds its way through this volcanic countryside.

Campers will have access to a toilet and shower during their stay, the facilities are a short walk from your campsite and your host will show you where you can access them on you arrival.

Warm your toes by the campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the night sky.

Nearby Lakeland has a local shop, roadhouse and multiple roadside stalls full of delicious local produce grown in these rich, fertile soils.

A hour further down the road will get you to Cooktown, which has an IGA grocer, butcher shop, seafood and many nearby tourist attractions.

Being on the Peninsula Development Road, 'Spring Creek' is the ideal place to kick up your heels for a while, base yourself here while you explore the many nearby tourist sites or make a brief overnighter on the way to Cape York.

Dogs on leashes welcome.
