Campsite 14 at Oz Sky Ranch is a really good camping spot, very secluded and next to the lake. Really nice views and the perfect site size to setup camp.

Lisa is also a fantastic host and keeps the campsites very clean and tidy, and she gets to talk to campers and provide some real good advice, etc.

The campsites are located in a really big property where you can also find B&B cabins and amazing activities such as paragliding. They were also about to finish a nice big venue for special events (e.g weddings, etc).

Away from the city (Gold Coast), but close enough (55km) if you want to get into the urban civilisation during the day (although you're probably escaping from it!!)

Highly recommended campsites!!

A great camping spot with plenty of privacy and nice green grass. We had a great time and will definitely be back again. I recommend gwtting firewood as its quite cold by the lake at night and its very convenient to have it all waiting for you at your camp site.

Lisa's property is lovely and being 20 min away from the Tamborine National Park, there is a lot to be done in the region.

Keep in mind that noisy water activities (water skiing) might take place in the lake just meters away from your tent over the from as early as 7am, taking away all privacy from some of the lakefront spots.

The lake is lovely but not very clear, neither of us had the 'courage' to get in for a swim.
Also, we had a lot of mosquitos at sunset so bring your repellent or citronella candle. The lights on the sky at sunset is stunning, and so there at the stars at night.

Did not purchase the firewood so cannot comment on quality or quantity.

Lisa was very responsive to our questions and overall we did enjoy our stay.

We loved our stay on the lake. Walking meters from our camp to have a swim is our idea of camping heaven! Lisa was very friendly but gave us our privacy.

Felt the stress just melt away in this beautiful landscape!
It's gorgeous! Loved the sunrise and sunset here and the sounds of nature all around us.

We ( My 12 year old and I ) stayed on site 14. Huge campsite. Lots of private space, beside the lake. Very relaxing. We had hot days, but we also had lovely cooling breezes, continually coming across the lake, so it was comfortable. We also had our own awning, which was good because the site doesn't have shade trees. The land has a slight slope down towards the lake edge. We found this gradient picturesque and was not a problem with our particular camp set up. The natural open fire pit provided, was easy to cook over, as we brought our own campfire mesh grill and flat plate combo. The toilets were located near site 2, so there is a little bit of a walk to the toilet. However, since site 14 has two pads on it, you could easily set up your own camp ensuite (toilet/shower) on one pad and have your tent on the other. We felt completely safe and relaxed camping here. I'm with Optus and had good strong WiFi signal at the site, although, we found we didn't use our tech, preferring to enjoy reading, boardgames and the outdoors.

There were other fun activities going on around and over the lake the weekend we were camping - hot hair ballooning, paragliding and barefoot skiing on the lake. These were enjoyable to sit back and watch from our camp.

My son, commented on how de-stressed he felt after the weekend here. We have definitely discovered a new 'happy place' and the bonus is, that it is only, one hours drive away from the Gold Coast!
