Welcome to our lovely Hippie Hideaway in tropical Far North Queensland! You can try out Off-Grid Living for a few days in paradise, glamping with solar power, rainwater, hot shower and kitchen, all set up in this idillic little bush cabin in the Kuranda rainforest. You'll need a 4-wheel drive to get down the driveway (otherwise park in the clearing and take a 3 minute walk to get to the cabin and camping area).

5 acres of rainforest and some shelter from the rain, what more could you ask for! This takes camping to a more comfortable next-level.

$100/night minimum 2 nights, for up to 4 people camping - you can use the King bed upstairs (BYO linen preferred), and swags or tents inside/undercover or outside... Extra guests welcome at additional cost, up to 2 vehicles.

There is a fire pit and firewood available at the cabin, along with a full kitchen, living space and a hot shower/bath. Walk into the rainforest to find the dunny and enjoy total privacy!  Camp out with the fire or sleep in the King bed upstairs, it's up to you.  It is your own private slice of heaven so feel free to roam.....!  Pets welcome too.

Enjoy the tropical climate, wild animals and bush walks, try your hand at spotlighting at night to find possums.  It is a peaceful and private location to enjoy all to yourself. Be sure to bring your own drinking water, and put your car in low gear when leaving the property.

Our stay at Jess and Ben’s property was absolutely fantastic!! It was easy to find and completely secluded. Jess and Ben were extremely accommodating and made sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed the large undercover outdoor area where we spent most of our stay. The use of natural materials was impressive and because we are conscious of our footprint, suited us without question. The name describes this place to a tee in the best way possible. I would highly recommend staying with Jess and Ben at Hippie Hideaway and have already shared my experience with my friends that I believe would enjoy this wonderful place. 10/10!

It's an awesome place to stay with some great swimming holes near by to cool off on hot days. It has a huge entertainment area with a fireplace, hammock, couches to relax on and more. I loved big bed upstairs. It's super comfy. Definitely worth staying there for a few nights to enjoy the nature
