Glenlyon Dam a Bus named Kermit is on the edge of Glenlyon Dam was once a part of the Historic Glenlyon Station. The Dam split the property in 1974 and our farm - named Tilba Tilba - place of many waters is now a Rare Breeds Farm with 7 breeds of sheep plus milking goats, alpacas, pigs, shorthorn cattle and poultry. A beautiful peaceful place with abundant wildlife on the dam and two resident emus often seen wandering around. Shower has gas hot water and toilet is septic - located in buildings around 20m from Kermit Bus Farm tours are free of charge, available depending on my work comittments. Some veggies and eggs for sale from the farm. Lambing Time is September - October Fishing is by permit only as Glenlyon Dam is a stocked Dam. $50 per year or $10 per week allows you to fish at Qld's 63 stocked Dam. Fish include Murray Cod, Silver Perch, Catfish, Yellow Belly.

Great view of sky
Amazing views with glimpses of water. Would be amazing star-gazing but moon was nearly full.

Perfect Dam Access
We camped here for a few nights for a fishing trip. Judy came past a couple of times and was very friendly and lovely. Access to the water was excellent too. The sites themselves were clean of debris and each one had a firepit and firewood was able to be collected if required. We absolutely will be back after finding this gem.

Gorgeous spot!
Lovely mowed grassy site. This is an especially beautiful and secluded spot and the owner is very attentive. She visited in person at least once each day to check in. Judy is absolutely charming and even offered to take a shopping list into town if I needed! All in the household that I met were wonderful people. They made sure to text before they visited, letting me know a rough time, and always drove up in a nice loud car so I could hear them coming. That meant I got to maintain a sense of privacy, which I really appreciated. They had firewood ready and waiting when I arrived, and dropped off more when they saw me running low. On my arrival Judy invited me to come see the exciting parts of farm life, which I did eagerly. I watched some rams get shorn, learned about different wool types, met the sow and her piglets, I even got to pet their unicorn goat! Great fun and great photos. The site is gently sloping mowed grass. It's a perfect distance from the main house. I couldn't see or hear the house from the site, but it was close enough to walk if any emergency arose. I LOVED the site shower. Seriously, the shower was awesome. Clean, private, roomy and piping hot. Each day I had wonderful picturesque views of grazing sheep in front of expanses of blue water and sky. Perfect and peaceful spot for sipping a glass of wine and reading a good book.

Private site w/ breathtaking views!
5 stars for Judy and her beautiful property! We spent 2 nights at the site at the top with range views and a glimpse of the mouth of Glenlyon dam through the trees. Judy was absolutely lovely and hospitable and it was such a pleasure to meet Dora the Kelpie! Beautiful private and well maintained spot with a breathtaking view of the stars on a clear night. We’ll be back next time we’re down this way! :)
