We had a lovely onenight stay on our way to Blackall. Ee chose a non-powered site near the dam. Sites are flat, dirt. Camp kitchen has all the necessities and lots of tbles to eat at. Lots of amazing artwork around the campground. Toilets andcoin operated shower available. Kylee (Gidgee as somecall her) is a wonderful hostess. Hubby had a coffee that he fully recommends getting one if you stay, i browsed the art and canvas bags, so good i had to buy some.
Absolutely loved our stay here. Kylie and Mick are super friendly. The camp area is full of quirky art pieces and it was a gorgeous setting for a sunset on the dam. Don't miss looking inside the shop........go right in as it is epic. Full of charm, creativity, memorabilia, stories - loved it all. Firewood was supplied which was great.
Spent 5 nights here & enjoyed late afternoon drinks with Kylee/Mick & other campers near the bush bar & fire. Very accommodating hosts & friendly. Loved the welded art Kylee has made around the camp..very talented! Wood supplied for fire pits, but you can cut your own if needed for your own set up. Will come again.
Great place for a stay. Plenty of sites available. Owners have put ba lot of effort into the camp.
It was very relaxing and enjoyable. Kylie and Mick are great people, not to mention how talented they both are. The pieces of art scattered around the park are amazing and the pieces they made for the town cenotaph were awesome and we were blessed to share the Morven Anzac service with all of the local people.
Kylee is a fantastic host. It’s not just the great setting (we camped by the dam) it’s the beautiful coffee and homemade sausage rolls from Kylee’s café that makes the overall experience enjoyable. Wonderful people and a must visit destination when going through Morven. We hope to get back again soon.
