We are a working cattle property in the beautiful South Burnett Region located approximately half an hour drive from Kingaroy. We offer sites for self-contained caravans and campers. We only allow a minimum number of campers on the property at any one time to ensure you have a peaceful and private stay. You can choose to relax and experience the bush with our abundance of wildlife or go for a drive and explore the wonderful wineries the region has to offer. Please note that we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you. We love our land and want to be able to share it with you for years to come so please take all rubbish with you when you leave. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather own fallen timber. Check with the host regarding conditions and never light a campfire without permission.

    Holly and Alex are amazing hosts. The camping area is extremely well thought out with that awesome feeling of seclusion and privacy. This was our second stay at Horseshoe Bend and I feel we will start becoming regulars.

    Wow! What a great site. I spent three nights here solo while Karyn had other plans and can't wait to get back with her and some friends. Such an awesome site. You feel like it is a remote bush camp and it is maintained so perfectly. Well grassed and well mowed. The creek bends right around the site and gives quiet sounds of trickling water. The fire pit was very well maintained and I purchased two 'bags' from Holly and Alex which was generous and waiting for me at the site. A lot of bird life around and the occasional wallaby jumping through in the mornings. I never heard any noise from other campers and only saw one group doing an arvo walk about 200m away at the camp turnoff. The way the camp is set there is no likelihood that anyone will walk through your setup. Can't wait to get back and try some other sites as well. Mitchell and Karyn Instagram: @SouthernCrossCampers

    Casuarina Creek - Galbraith
    Amazing property, peaceful and relaxing. Birdlife everywhere, great private space for us and the dogs. Creek was refreshing and cold on a hot couple of days. We will be back.
